I was thinking today that I needed a permanent place to put down everything I want to improve on, keep track of, and show progress in my life. In general I want to keep track of paces in my life where I feel like things have gotten a little out of control, and reign them in. By making specific things to account for each and every day, I want this place to keep track of things, but also to change as my goals and life change.
For starters, here's what I want to track:
Weigh in (AM)
Food Log
Money Spent
Bed time to wake time
Exercise
Alcohol Consumption
Caffeine
Excess (artificial) sugar
Successes
Where to improve
General thoughts on the day
A few years ago I had some real success losing weight on weight watchers, and I think the reason for that was that I tracked and measured everything I ate / drank / exercised / etc. By holding myself accountable and tracking I was able to succeed. Hopefully, this can act as a similar mode of success.
