April 9, 2013: The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly

Today's Stats:

Weigh in (AM): 178.8 (bad)

Food Log (pretty good):
6:30am: 2 eggs / black beans / salsa / cheese
10:19am:  5 Almonds
12:00pm: Lentil Soup / Sliced Cheese
2:00pm:  5 Almonds
5:00pm: post run banana
5:30pm: Salad with Chicken and black beans (basic dressing, olive oil and red wine vinegar)
7:30pm:  Corona Light

Money Spent: $26 (I owed somebody a drink and paid a credit card bill)

Bed time to wake time: 10:00pm-5:30am

Exercise: 25 minute run, slow but working on it

Alcohol Consumption: 1 Corona Light

Caffeine: 2 Cups of Tea

Excess (artificial) sugar: Zero (the Good)

Successes: Forcing myself to go out on a run when I wasn't sure I would have enough time between work and Paint Nite

Where to improve: Cravings, need to work on. Having that post run banana was perfect - normally I would have tried for something bigger and sugary-er. Wasn't planning on having a drink at Paint Nite, but went with the lighter option (need to work on wants versus needs and cravings)

General thoughts on the day: Overall not too shabby. Happy that I went on the run this afternoon, it's something I need to get outside and do more, even though it's slow, I know it will get quicker. Not happy about the weight situation, but considering the sugar / alcohol / poor choices path I've been of lately, it's not surprising, just scary...
