April 11th, 2013 - What Happens on a Bad Day...

Food Log :
6:30am: 2 eggs / black beans / salsa / cheese
8:00am: Grande non-fat Capuchino
11:30am: Salad with chicken / black beans / goat cheese and hummus / celery
1:00pm: Trail Mix from work (Peanuts, raisins, pineapple, pb chips, chocolate)
5:00pm: Banana
              Whip Cream 1/4 cup
8:00pm: Spaetezeles / chicken / asparagus / 4 beers (the bad)
 
Money Spent: $2 for trail mix and $3.80 for Capuchino = $5.80

Bed time to wake time: 11:30pm-6am

Exercise: Zero, Thursday off

Alcohol Consumption: 4 Harpoon IPA's

Caffeine: Capuchino
 
Excess (artificial) sugar: PB Chips and chocolate pieces in trail mix and whipped cream

Successes: Dinner was ok, the chicken and asparagus were a success. Finally posted the oboe and SCUBA gear on Craigslist, some success there so far.

Where to improve: Alcohol consumption / weight / money / afternoon snacking.
 
General thoughts on the day: I'm annoyed with myself, but this is a typical bad day. Where I do one thing I'm not proud of and then the rest goes down hill quickly. I would really like to find something to fight those afternoon cravings, but can't seem to figure it out. Maybe a small piece of dark chocolate? I don't want to say I'm 100% giving anything up, just working on moderation, and hunger cravings. I don't think it would be very realistic to give things up entirely, as that just creates more cravings. I also need to work on how I react to things in my alone time, as that's when things flare up.
